Charket apps are Salesforce native apps running in each company's Salesforce org. Both Salesforce Apex governor limits and the following social media platform limits are applicable to Charket apps.
WeChat
WeChat
A WeChat OA (official account) can be a WeChat Service Account or a WeChat Subscription Account. Unless otherwise specified, the following limits are applicable to both of them.
Menus
A WeChat OA has one default menu and additional optional personalized menus. The following rules and limits are applicable to creating and customizing WeChat menus.
- A WeChat menu consists of up to 3 first level menu options with each supporting up to 5 second level menu options.
- Each first level menu option can display a maximum of 5 Chinese characters or 10 English characters; each second level menu option can display a maximum of 12 Chinese characters or 18 English characters. Additional characters beyond these limits will be displayed as "…".
- For data security purposes, URLs that are opened by all menu options are limited to a maximum of 3 domains.
- The default menu has to be created before any personalized menus can be created. Deleting the default menu will also remove all personalized menus.
- Visibility of personalized menus is controlled by WeChat user profile information, such as tags, device OS, etc.
Template Messages
- Only verified WeChat Service Accounts have access to template messages.
- Each account may have up to 25 templates. Once this limit is reached, existing templates need to be removed before new ones can be added.
- Each account can send up to 100K template messages per day. This daily quota can be higher for accounts with more than 100K followers. The exact daily limit can be found in each account's admin portal.
Mass Messages
- A verified WeChat Subscription Account may send one mass message to all or a group of followers once everyday.
- A verified WeChat Service Account can send up to 100 mass messages to all or a group of followers everyday, but each follower can only receive up to 4 mass messages every month. Mass messages beyond the first 4 to each follower can still be sent but won't be delivered.
- Template messages do not count against the monthly quota of 4 messages to each follower.
Tags
A WeChat OA can have up to 100 tags added, and a WeChat follower can have up to 20 tags assigned.
QR Codes
Custom QR codes can be created for a WeChat Service Account. A WeChat QR code can be a temporary code or a permanent QR code.
- A temporary QR code is valid for up to 30 days. A WeChat Service Account can have unlimited number of temporary QR codes.
- A permanent QR code does not expire. A WeChat Service Account can have up to 100K permanent QR codes.
Message Library
The following limits are applicable to the following types of WeChat resources.
- Images: Supported image formats include PNG, JPEG, JPG, and GIF. The maximum file size is 2MB uploaded with the Charket UI and 10MB uploaded through the WeChat admin portal.
- Audio Clips: Supported audio formats include MP3, WMA, WAV, AMR and M4A. The maximum file size is 2MB uploaded with the Charket UI and 1GB uploaded through the WeChat admin portal.
- Videos: The only supported video format is MP4. The maximum file size is 2MB uploaded with the Charket UI and not limited uploaded through the WeChat admin portal. The length of each video cannot exceed 1 hour.
Agents
A WeChat OA can have up to 100 agents showing their names and photos while chatting with WeChat followers and unlimited number of anonymous agents. Up to 1K agents can chat with WeChat followers at any time.
Chat Windows
To prevent sending spam messages to WeChat users, WeChat employs two types of chat windows that allow agents which include a bot to chat with WeChat followers.
- A 1-minute chat window is opened and refreshed each and every time a WeChat user triggers a WeChat event which can be following an OA, clicking a menu option or scanning a QR code. Within this 1-minute chat window, up to 3 messages, can be sent to the follower.
- A 48-hour chat window is opened and refreshed each and every time a WeChat user sends a message to a WeChat OA. Within this 48-hour window, up to 5 messages, can be sent to the follower.
- Beyond a chat window, only template messages and mass messages which count against each follower's monthly quota of 4 mass messages can be sent or scheduled to WeChat followers.
WeCom
WeCom
The following limits are applicable to WeCom.
- A WeCom account can have up to 10K tags added, and a WeCom contact can have up to 3K tags assigned.
- Removed WeCom users cannot be synced to Salesforce CRM.
- The number of members in an internal chat group is limited to 2K.
- A WeCom user can add up to 2K WeCom contacts. Additional WeCom contact allocations can be purchased.
WhatsApp
WhatsApp
A 24-hour chat window is opened and refreshed each and every time a WhatsApp user sends a message to a WhatsApp business account. Beyond such chat window, only template messages can be sent or scheduled to WhatsApp users.
